- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The submission of this information is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. The United States Secret Service (USSS) and other Government Agencies have a requirement for Relocation Management Services (RMS) for employees located within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The USSS relocation program is intended to ensure employees can relocate within the allotted 120 days and to minimize the financial burden and personal disruption involved in relocating. An employee relocation should be completed cost-efficiently and in the shortest time practical to allow the transferee to be settled in the new location and focused on the new assignment. The successful offeror shall provide the following services: brokers value offer; guaranteed home sale; assigned sale; amended value sale; amended from zero; home marketing assistance only; property management, pre-transfer counseling and brokers market analysis. The USSS anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 on or about 1 November 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531390 and the small business size standard is $2.0 million. The estimated period of performance will be on or about June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2017. Annually, the USSS expects approximately 250 employees to utilize the guaranteed home sale service. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price indefinite delivery - performance based type contract, to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Solicitation, will represent the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. In order for the USSS to properly gauge the capability of the small and large business community, interested concerns must provide: a) A capability statement (limited to 10 pages in length, singled-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font minimum) demonstrating the ability to perform the efforts above. This statement should describe your firm's ability to provide adequate staffing to perform all activities required. b) Relevant Experience (limited to 5 pages) within the last three (3) years, including contract number, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number and email address, and a brief description of how the contract referenced is relevant to the scope of work described above.
