- The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Region 9, Arlington, Virginia intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1, other than full and open competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedure, for the acquisition of development of law enforcement risk assessments of each unit of the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS), creation of a threat assessment and threat matrix, and a restructure and enhancement of the existing 2004 deployment model for the NWRS. No solicitation or request for quote is available for this procurement. Any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the US FWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 8/26/2011, by close of business to be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted in writing via e-mail only. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
