Description

The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV), Indian Head, Maryland is requesting information on a handheld Operator Control Unit (OCU) suitable for command and control of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) robotic platforms. The purpose of this solicitation is to identify robot controllers that are capable of effectively controlling an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) during dismounted operations, specifically targeted at increment one of the future Advanced EOD Robotic Systems (AEODRS) Program. Increment one consists of a dismounted platform limited to 35 pounds combined total system weight.
