- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Center for Plant Health Science and Technology (CPHST) has a requirement for running tests on a mobile high pressure washing trailer. The CPHST will be conducting testing on a mobile high pressure wash station to determine the possible future use and applicability for domestic emergencies with insect and plant pathogen problems. The purpose of this sources sought is to inquire if there are vendors available which have the equipment described below to meet the USDA's needs or that might have the capability to modify any existing equipment to meet our needs. Following is a description of the equipment with the technical capability requirements: A mobile high pressure wash trailer system that washes and sterilizes the trucks and vehicles to remove all soils, seeds, and plant particles. The washer system MUST have a filtering method that sanitizing the water or some type of system for recycling the waste water in lieu of the contaminated waste water re-entering the soil. The unit must have a minimum 300 gallon capacity water tank. In response to this sources sought please submit information on your company's equipment or capabilities to provide this type of equipment. The Government acknowledges that responses to this sources sought are not binding offers. The information obtained will assist in our market research and future solicitation processes.
