Description
Combined Synopsis Solicitation for Brushcutter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a 60" Rotary Brush Cutter with a minimum of a 25' Boom prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation on FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). Fairchild AFB has a requirement for a 60" Rotary Brush Cutter with a minimum of a 25' Boom in accordance with the required salient characteristics stated in the attached Statement of Work. Solicitation FA4620-11-Q-A109 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 12 & 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective 4 Aug 2011. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333111. This acquisition is a small business set aside with a size standard of 500 employees. Unit Small Business Specialist is Michael P. Gilbert (509-247-4880); link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov. This is a small business set-aside. Quotes are due no later than Tuesday, 30 August 2011 at 1:00 PM PDT. Upon award, payment will be through Wide Area Workflow. Lack of registration by the contractor in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system will make contractor ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.252-1 -- Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The offeror is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the offeror and submitted with its quotation or offer. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer. Also, the full text of a solicitation provision may be accessed electronically at this/these address (as): http://farsite.hill.af.mil http://arnet.gov/far FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jun 2008) Addendum to FAR Clause 52.212-1: To assure timely and equitable evaluation of the proposal, the offeror must follow the instructions contained herein. The proposal must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. The response shall consist of a Price Proposal, Warranties and return of the completed Certifications and Representations. Proposals shall include the following four (4) items. 1) Warranty: Each offeror shall include standard commercial warranty if applicable. (Attachment 1) 2) Pricing Schedule (Attachment 1) 3) Completed Representations and Certifications as required in FAR 52.212-3 with Alt 1(accessible at the Air Force Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil) or Online Reps and Certs (ORCA). 4) Technical Data: To establish technical acceptability, offeror shall provide technical data of the proposed product with their quote. Technical data shall consist of manufacturer specifications, detailed drawings, product literature, certification stating the product is a small business manufactured product, and other documentation to the extent that the government can ensure the offeror's proposal meets the government requirements. Proposal Submissions: Proposals are due Tuesday, 30 August 2011 by 1:00 PM PDT.
