- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Southwest, San Diego, California is announcing its intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Cultural Resources Collections Management and Long-Term Curatorial Services in San Diego County, California. This procurement will be issued on an un-restricted basis. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 712110, Museums and Similar Institutions. The Small Business Size Standard is $7M. The Government ™s intent is to issue a Single Award, Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Firm-Fixed Price, Exhibit Line Items (ELINs). The resulting contract will be awarded for a base period of one year with two-one year option periods. The minimum guarantee is $5,000. The minimum guarantee applies to the three-year term of the contract. The aggregate value of task orders issued under the resulting contract is expected to be within $250,000 and $600,000. The RFP will contain a detailed performance work statement describing the Government ™s requirements. FAR Part 15 is applicable to this acquisition. The intent is to award without discussions. The solicitation will be available by electronic media only and will be available for review and downloading at the Navy Electronic Commerce On-line and Federal Business Opportunity Websites at: www.neco.navy.mil and https://www.fbo.gov/ respectively on or about the September 1, 2011. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation issued. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on the NECO and FEDBIZOpps Websites. This will be the only method of distribution of the amendments; therefore, it is the offeror ™s responsibility to check the NECO and FEDBIZOpps Websites periodically for any amendments to the solicitation that may be issued. The solicitation is anticipated to close at 2:00 p.m., local time on September 30, 2011.
