Description
Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to AF&S Products & Services, Inc. 34 Maricopa Ct, Palm Desert, CA 92211-4201. 404-557-3333 to provide Readiness Rounds Process. AF&S Products & Services, Inc. shall provide all supervision, labor, clerical support, data management, data collection and dissemination, electronic/computer support, materials and services to manage the entire Readiness Rounds process for the Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center to include the following components: (a) Environment of Care (EOC) (b) Nursing Tracers (c) Medication Management (d) Closed Medical Record Review (e) Leadership (f) Human Resources which are all structured to review and assess compliance with JCAHO Standards, OIG Requirements, VA Deputy Undersecretary of Health and Operations Management (DUSHOM), VHA SOARS and VISN requirements. This proposed contract action is for the service mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than Monday, August 29, 2011, to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
