Notice_Inboard Eng This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for (2) 2.8L, 4 cylinder engine marine inboard engines, commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-11-391PDD134 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Description: (2) 2.8L, 4 cylinder engine marine inboard engines each with the following characteristics: * 220 MHP @ 3800 rpm, certified for light commercial duty, EPA Tier 2 compliant * 850 lbs maximum dry weight, each * Maximum overall height 33" & maximum height above crankshaft 22" * Electronic Common Rail engine control * Digital Throttle & Shift * Fresh water cooling * Wet exhaust w/ mixing elbow * Gear-driven counterbalance shafts * Hydraulic lifters * Vibration Isolating mounts * SAE 4 flywheel housing * Installed TM 485A or equivalent transmission w/ 2.09:1 ratio * Gear oil pressure and temperature sending units * Engine mounted fuel filter, 2-3 micron * Engine Mounted 12V starter & 110 amp alternator with regulator * Belt guard * Digital Instrument panels with the following: * Gear oil pressure * Lube oil pressure * Engine water temperature * Tachometer * Voltmeter * Hour meter • EPA tear 2 compliant for Coast Guard certification • Commercially rated • Easy and inexpensive maintenance Engines to be delivered to:: Viking Welding & Fab. Past Performance - Provide points of contact for similar efforts performed within the last two years. c. Price - While price is not the primary evaluation factor in this evaluation, it is important and will be considered when determining contract award.
