Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. (iii) This solicitation is a total small business set-aside, NAICS 532292, Recreational Goods Rental, with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. The National Park Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses. (iv) The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose total offer represents the best value for the Government, price and technical factors considered. The National Parks of New York Harbor, Manhattan Sites, Hamilton Grange, 414 West 141st St., New York, NY 10031 has a requirement/need for rental of stage and audio equipment, and seating for the Grand Re-Opening of Hamilton Grange National Monument. All equipment shall be delivered on September 16, 2011. Vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel for installation of all staging and audio equipment. One (1) Project Manager, one (1) Audio Engineer, one (1) Audio Assistant, and one (1) Utility Hand will be required on the day of the event, September 17, 2011. The vendor will provide all necessary personnel for striking and removing of all equipment, immediately following the closing of the event, on September 17, 2011. Vendors are responsible for complying with all pertinent Federal, state, and local safety and code requirements. Please refer to the attached Bid Schedule for descriptions of all required equipment.(v) LOCATION: Hamilton Grange, 414 West 141st St., New York, NY 10031. (vi) SCHEDULE of SUBMISSIONS: One (1) invoice must be submitted, after successful delivery/set-up/break-down, and acceptance.(vii)SCHEDULE: Delivery and Set-Up of all staging and audio equipment, and seating on Friday, September 16, 2011. Provide one (1) Project Manager, one (1) Audio Engineer, one (1) Audio Assistant, and one (1) Utility Hand on the day of the event, September 17, 2011. Strike and Remove all staging and audio equipment, and seating, immediately following closing of event on Saturday, September 17, 2011.(viii)DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: 1.Quote provided on attached bid schedule.2.Written descriptions of three (3) previous projects of a similar nature, completed within the past three (3) to five (5) years. Provide a minimum of three (3) references (one for each project), completed within the past three (3) to five (5) years, with the names and telephone numbers of contacts. 3.Proof of CCR registration.4.Name, phone number, and address of your point of contact. (ix) The Government contemplates the award of a single purchase order on a "low-price-technically-acceptable" basis. A technically acceptable business will meet or exceed the following criteria:1.The offeror shall demonstrate at least three (3) to five (5) years of successfully completing services of a similar type, involving projects of a similar nature.2.The offeror shall demonstrate satisfactory performance completing similar projects.(x) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.(xi) FAR provisions/clauses listed below apply. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted in the same manner as the solicitation; it is your responsibility to monitor the website. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
