- Healthcare Acquisition Activity-North intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order with General Electric to lease one (1) 1.5T Signa Horizon LX Hi Speed mobile MRI system (9.1) for a period of nine (9) days to be used at Andrews Air Force Base, D.C., on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 423450, size standard of 100 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 17 August 2011.
