- THE FOLLOWING REQUEST FOR QUOTE INFORMATION IS ADDED TO THE ANNOUCEMENT: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number F11PS01515 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. (ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53, effective 5 Jul 2011. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. (iv) This procurement is being conducted as a Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336212, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) The Government intends to issue a FIRM FIXED PRICE supply contract for the following items: provide and deliver, delivered 60 days after date of contract, in accordance with the included specifications (see the specifications the end of this document). There are three Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) (see the specifications at the end of this document). FOB Destination. (vi) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2 (multiple offers will not be considered), Evaluation-Commercial Items apply: The Government will award a firm fixed price supply contract from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government, and whose quote meets the requirements of the solicitation. 52.212-02 EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS JANUARY 1999 (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of importance: (i) price; (ii) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government Brand Name or Equal requirement; (b) The Low Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA), evaluation methodology will be used to evaluate quotes. For the purpose of this award, offers will be evaluated and award will be made to the lowest aggregate offer, which receives a Pass rating on the "technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government Brand Name or Equal requirement" (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. (vi).
