Description
ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required to remove the existing Smith & Loveless factory-built storm water pumping stations as specified in the Statement of Work. The work is located in the vicinity of Bldg 518 at Pump House N6, on the USCG Base Kodiak, Alaska. Pump House N6 is a heated/lighted space with double door access. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest price technically accepted. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: NONE. Performance Period is 45-60 days. Work to be performed Within 45 days of Notice to Proceed. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Operational and Maintenacne (O&M) manuals, manufacturer catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 18, 2011. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD September 01, 2011, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE IS LESS THAN $100,000.
