- This is a Sources Sought for commercial items. Solicitation number for this Sources Sought is FA4830-11-Q-Z012. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS): 332994. Please contact us if you are an interested source and are one of the following categories: (1) HubZone Small Business. Distributor and manufacturer must be HubZone Small Business. (2) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Distributor must be SDVOSB and manufacturer must be a Small Business. (3) 8a Small Business. Distributor must be 8a Small Business and manufacturer must be a Small Business. FAR 52.219-14 apply to any resulting Request for Quote (RFQ). STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Client: United States Air Force, 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to design and build an operational Minigun Live Fire Group Trainer (MLFGT). Provide a mock-up of rear crew position of HH-60G Pavehawk, specifically to include weapon mount and power for GAU-2 minigun to allow ground based live weapon training. The contractor will be required to submit plans and drawings of final proposed product. These submittals will be subject to client's approval. 3. Specific Requirements: a. Weather resistant dual-axle trailer with realistic mock-up of HH-60G Aerial Gunner position with window, seat, overhead weather protection and control panels. b. Mimigun mounting hardware c. Electronic Control Unit d. Single Integrated Ammunition Handling System e. Power unit to provide either AC or DC power to operate GAU-2C. f. Stop plates included to limit the field of fire g. Must be expandable to allow Integrated Gun Mount System and associated 0,.50 cal weapon to be retrofitted at a later date h. Aerial Gunner seat is 50" high, 24" deep and 21" wide. Floor to ceiling height in HH-60 is 56". Ammo can are 9" wide, 31" long and 28" high. They are floor mounted and sit behind gunners seat. Power controls and ECU can be as required by manufacturer and similarly overhead protection needs to be big enough to cover the gunner and his instructor as well as structure of the system. It is recommended that all interested parties be Central Contractor Registered (CCR) and Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) be activated.
