Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) Oklahoma intends to make an award on a sole-source basis to the Benedictine Fathers of Sacred Heart (BFSH) for the following service: CATHOLIC PRIEST SERVICES. BFSH is the only Catholic Monastery in the Oklahoma City Area of ongoing assistance to fulfill a contract of this nature. The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, the only other source capable of meeting Tinker's needs, is unable to provide a priest at this time. Contractor will furnish all tools, parts, facilities, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform duties as a USAF Chaplain at Tinker AFB Chapel. Duties include: Conduct weekly religious services, Counseling and Sacraments, as well as conduct and attend meetings and activities. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Release of solicitation approximately August 8th, 2011. Approximate response date to announcement is August 23rdth, 2011. Period of Performance is 1-Basic Year and four 1-year options to begin approximately 01 October, 2011. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures may be used for this solicitation. See NOTE 22.
