Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8, under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Rules (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to EST Analytical for purchase of the Encon Evolution purge and trap auto sampler. The Encon Evolution has been selected to allow compatibility with the existing (Agilent) HP 7890 GC/MS and for its capability to sample 100 samples automatically. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE, nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 11 days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing to the email address provided with this announcement. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the government in accordance with FAR 13. 106-1(b).
