Description
This is the Motorcycle Saftey Training Performance Work Statement. This announcement constitutes public notice of intent to purchase Motorcycle Safety Training for 168 Basic Riders, 120 Sport Bike Riders and 72 Experienced Riders on a sole source basis from Arkansas Motorcycle Safety, Inc., 2721 Highway 128, Lonsdale AR 72087-9653. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). Interested persons may respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within seven business days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, Arkansas Motorcycle Safety, Inc. has been the supplier for Motorcycle Safety Training for some time, and no other vendor has been able to offer the required MSF certification required (AFI 91-207) and obtained by Arkansas Motorcycle Safety, Inc. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 611692 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement. Each quotation shall state that proposed unit prices will remain in effect until at least 15 October 2011. Referencing FA4460-11-T-0090, all responses shall be sent to the attention of Ms. Stacy A.
