- The U.S. Geological Survey, Eastern Geology and Pliocene Science Center, Reston, Virginia intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The University of South Carolina Center For Elemental Mass Spectrometry for Neodymium (Nd) Analyses of Pliocene Fossil Fish Teeth From Atlantic Sediment Cores The University of South Carolina will assist by measuring and analyzing the Neodymium (Nd) of fossil fish teeth from 14 sites that are strategically distributed throughout the Atlantic basin, in support of the U.S Geological Survey Mendenhall Postdoctoral Research Project. There is one option period THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The NAICS code is 541720. The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/31/2011. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
