- Specification Moody AFB Requirement: Window Shades for Air Traffic Control Tower The solicitation number is FA4830-11-Q-0083. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Sub-Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20110725. NAICS is 337920 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Bid Schedule: ATCT Window Shades for the Large and Small Bombing Range The requirements for ATCT Transparent Plastic Window Shades and the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Specification (Transparent Plastic Window Shades)are attached. Measurements are not available except through site visit. Site visitors must be accompanied to the location. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in the attached SOW are invited to submit in writing a complete quote to include the following: 1. Detail Material Listing to include quantities 2. Price listing of each item 3. Installation by an Authorized ATCT Transparent Plastic Window Shades 4. Delivery Date No partial bids for the items listed above will be accepted. FOB destination Moody AFB GA 31699. A site visit will be conducted on 18 August 2011@ 0900 on Moody AFB Grandbay Range site. Interested parties please respond via email with individuals names, driver's license #, that will be attending the site visit NLT 0900 on 17 August 2011. The following clause applies: Clause 52.237-1, Site Visit, Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
