- Notice Type: Intent to Sole Source Posted Date: 09Aug11 Response Date: 12Aug11 Archiving Policy: Automatic, on specified date Archive Date: Original Set-Aside: N/A Set-Aside: N/A Classification Code: R-Professional, Administrative, and Management Services (R408 - Program Management /Support Services) NAICS Code: 541611 ($7 Million) Sources Sought: The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Sacramento District, Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source award with Atkins North America, Incorporated. Atkins North America, Incorporated will provide all personnel, equipment, materials, expertise, and coordination necessary to provide project management support services for the CALFED Levee Stability Program and the Delta Islands and Levees Feasibility Study. This includes supporting the following study process: PMP/FCSA development; Project Implementation Report (PIR); SPD approval; Project Partnership Agreement (PPA) execution; design & construct; data collection, analysis and report preparation to further the execution of the CALFED Levee Stability Program and the Delta Islands and Levees Feasibility Study. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; this notice is for informational purposes only. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
