Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis is to notify contractors that the government intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13 for the following, under simplified acquisition procedures. The Request for Proposal number is FDA-SOL-11-1090255. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-45 are incorporated into this request. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The provisions and clauses may be accessed in full text at www.acquisition.gov/far. The NAICS code is 423490, Scientific laboratory equipment merchant wholesalers. This procurement is being set-aside for small business concerns and all qualified small business vendors are encouraged to respond. FDA requires a Protasis One-Minute NMR system with CTC PAL HTC liquid handler OR EQUAL robotic auto-sampler system for high-throughput NMR experiments with the DPA 500 MHz NMR spectrometer. The automatic sample handling system must be able to interface with an Agilent 500 MHz Direct Drive 2 NMR spectrometer equipped with an Agilent cold probe.
