- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide services to Replace Elevators Buildings 210, 211, 26, 35 and 1. This procurement will be conducted as small business set aside and competitive negotiated procedures. Participation of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business firms will be addressed in the evaluation criteria. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for projects 538-08-102, Replace Elevator Building 210; 538-08-103 Replace Elevator Building 211; 538-08-118 Replace Elevators Building 26; 538-08-128 Replace Elevators Building 1; and 538-08-132 Replace Elevators Building 35 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601 as required by drawings and specifications. Work is to be completed within 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans and specifications will be available on the website https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about August 17, 2011. No hard copies will be issued. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-proposal conference will be held on August 24, 2011 at 9:30 am in Room 121, Building 1, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit for the project. Proposals are due on September 19, 2011.
