PROJECT DETAILS: WY PRA GRTE PRES 1(12), Grand Tetons National Park Pavement Preservation Project Description: The project is located in Grand Teton National Park. The work consists of conducting 1R Pavement Preservation at various sites. Schedule A - 13.47 miles of roadway/pullouts. Total square area approximately 226,054 square yards which includes parking lots. Options Y and Z - Includes 0.95 and 0.53 miles respectively of roadways/pullouts. Total square area approximately 56,724 square yards which includes parking lots The project consists of several Pavement Preservation items of work to include: 1)Micro-surfacing type 2 2)Hot asphalt patching type 2 3)Crack Sealing 4)Traffic Control 5)Pavement Markings Additional items of work included to support these activities. Weather Limitations for Surface Treatments - June 1, 2012 to August 31, 2012. Significant Quantities: Total area of all park projects is approximately 223,932 square yards of Micro-surfacing type 2 which is the major costs item. Within this item are additional item such as CQS-1h for Micro-surfacing. Construction season will not begin until mid June to late August, 2012. Estimated cost $1 to $2 million. Tentative advertisement date is August 1, 2011. PLEASE NOTE: The Invitation for Bid will be available for download on or after August 1, 2011, from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
