AG-9A63-S-11-0096 Title: Campground Concessionaire Description/Synopsis: This notice is to advertise the CAMPGROUND CONCESSIONAIRE SOLICITATION, PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST, BECKWOURTH RANGER DISTRICT. Operation of Government-owned facilities Notice Type: Sources Sought, The USDA Forest Service, Plumas National Forest in California is pleased to announce the availability of a prospectus for a 5 + 5 year special use permit, for the operation and maintenance of Government owned campground and day use recreation sites located on the Beckwourth Ranger District. Up to two permits will be issued; one for the Frenchman Lake Recreation Area and one for the Lake Davis Recreation Area and the Lakes Basin Campground. The Prospectus (available at http://fs.usda.gov/plumas) describes the business opportunity and provides instructions for submitting applications. Applications must be received by close of business (4:30 PM) on October 17, 2011 and should be submitted to the Plumas National Forest Supervisor's Office, P.O. Box 11500, 159 Lawrence Street, Quincy CA 95971, Attention: Dave Wood. A selection will be made in late fall so that permits may be issued and operators in place in January 2012.
