- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The associated NAICS code is 423320 and the product service code is 5610. The Government will award a Firm Fixed Priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. Offers will be evaluated based on best value to the Government which includes price and quality. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), (http//www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (http//orca.bpn.gov). Unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation, the offers are due by 2:00 P.M. Mountain Standard Time (MST), September 5, 2011. The contract will be awarded on or about September 15, 2011. Quotes will be accepted via mail, fax or email. Mailing Address: NPS NEKOTA MABO, 24290 Doane Mt Rd, Keystone, SD 57751 FAX: (605) 574-9077, Email Address: kadra_martz@nps.gov. REQURIEMENTS: 3000 Tons - Base Course. The product shall meet the following specifications: Furnish hard, durable particles or fragments of crushed stone or gravel conforming to the size and quality requirements for crushed aggregate material normally used locally in the construction and maintenance of highways by Federal or State agencies. Furnish crushed aggregate with a maximum size of 1 inch as determined by AASHTO T 27 and T 11. Furnish crushed aggregate uniformly graded from course to fine and free of organic matter, lumps or balls of clay, and other deleterious matter. Deliver to stockpile at Wind Cave National Park mixing circle location approximately 15 miles north of Hot Springs, SD 57747 on US Highway 385. Governemt will provide push-up of stockpile.
