- Description
- RFI originally posted under N65236_SNOTE_0002473Eon 17 July 2011 with responses due 09 August 2011 is hereby extended until 23 August 2011. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code 6.3.2.0, is seeking information on a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise wide SSL encrypted online hosting website for the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) that will be able to support the Warrior Core Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) Database. The DoD CT database will collect clinical, procedural, and results data in a concise format, which can output a standardized report that can be sent to the provider, improve patient safety, and allow collaboration between DoD cardiac imaging providers, by following the Society of Cardiac CT reporting guidelines in order to improve scanning protocols to reduce radiation exposure while enhancing diagnostic capabilities. The database will require secure online hosting, as defined in CJCSI 6212.01E that can be available to DoD imaging providers no matter their location. A local server behind security firewalls would not be accessible by outside providers. A model server allows for secure CAC access but is not available DoD wide. Utilizing a model such as banking websites would allow for wider accessibility yet also be secure enough to protect stored information. The overall goal is to establish a web hosting platform. Submittals - due 23 August 2011 The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems. This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes: 1.
