Description
The original RFI, N65236_SNOTE_00024722, which posted on 19 July 2011 withsubmittals due 09 August 2011 is hereby extended until 23 August 2011. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code6.3.2.0, is seeking information on commercially-available electronicimmunotherapy (ITX, also known as allergy shots) systems. An electronic ITXsystem utilizing the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) wide system is needed toprovide true point of care capabilities through tracking, alerts and reportmechanisms These electronic capabilities will ensure that processes are inplace to verify the patients ID, the proper dosage amount, schedule, serum lotnumber, and individual patient ITX summary reports. Simultaneous multiple usercapability is needed and the system will eliminate misinterpretation of handwritten notes. Patient safety is paramount and this system markedly diminishespatient safety vulnerabilities that can result in anaphylaxis. The target audience for this information is the AFMS, and all submittals shouldbe suited to their specific needs. This information is being reviewed to conduct objective comparative assessmentsand validation of commercial equipment and systems.All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore,vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI.Specific information sought includes:1. Company information, including name, address, and URL.2. Whether a purchased product or a service-based product is offered. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contactsphone number and e-mail address. 4. A brief description (75 words or less) of capabilities and existing orrelated products. 5. Any relevant cost information such as purchase price and General ServicesAdministration (GSA) schedule information. Submittals are due on 23 August 2011.
