Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity-8, in support of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award under Request for Quotation number VA248-11-RQ-1111, with PREFERRED ANESTHESIA SERVICES, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide Preventative Maintenance and Certification contract for eighteen (18) anesthesia for James A Haley, Veterans Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612. This procurement is a sole source award pursuant to authority of sections 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (38 U.S.C. §8127 (b)) and VAAR 819.7007 Sole source award to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The NAICS code is assigned to this acquisition is 811219 and the small business size standard is $5.0M. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, and parts necessary to provide a preventive maintenance agreement including vaporizer testing and certification of the equipment listed below for the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. The contract performance period consists of: One year base period, and four optional one year periods. (1 Oct 2011 - 30 Sep 2017) these dates may be adjusted based upon actual date of award).
