- RFQ COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M0W41059A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, Effective 5 July 2011. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334310 with a 750 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote for the items identified in the attached RFQ, CLIN 0001 - CLIN 0031, to provide and install audio equipment for our base chapel. Brand name or equal products must be used. This replacement must include professional installation of all new equipment and adjustment of the sound system to provide proper equalization, volume levels, and feedback elimination. This system must include a new digital mixing board (capable of storing settings on a USB drive), speakers (main and monitor), amps, wired and wireless microphones (for speakers, soloist, and choirs), and other essential items needed to provide a high quality sound for our worship services and other events. A site visit will be conducted on 16 Aug 2011 at 9:00 AM eastern standard time at Joint Base Charleston, SC Bldg 503 Conference Room #1. (Note: Site visit is not mandatory but recommended; Contact Will Mann at 843-963-5160 NLT 12 Aug 2011 at 11:00 AM eastern standard time with the names of all who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base). All questions relating to the solicitation must be submitted to Will Mann NLT 17 Aug 2011 at 2:00 PM EST. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. (vi) F1M0W41059A001 Audio and Sound System for Base Chapel for Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. (vii) Delivery & acceptance instructions, FOB destination. Delivery must begin within 30 calendar days of award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following descending order of importance: 1. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes.
