- The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to: Columbia Helicopters (Cage Code: 7W206) 14452 Arndt Rd NE Aurora, OR 97002 As implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research has revealed this contractor manufactures Cap Angles for the CH-46E aircraft. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure: seventeen (17) cap angles, part number 107S7310-15 as required to fulfill the Government ™s requirement for the Ch-46E aircraft.. These parts are direct replacement parts and are only available from Columbia Helicopters. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
