- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912K6-11-Q-1050, is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This procurement is a 100% service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.1405. The NAICS code is 517919 and the small business size standard for this NAICS Code is $25.0 Million. The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) has a requirement to purchase a Wireless Intrusion Detection System. All equipment shall be new and not refurbished. The following list of hardware, software, licenses, etc. is required by the MDARNG: Aruba 3600 (0 AP Support) US FIPS/TAA, one (1) each; Policy Enforcement Firewall Module License (256 Users), one (1) each RFP License (WIP+Spectrum) (8 APs), one (1) each Access Point License (64 Access Point License), one (1) each Aruba 125 Wireless Access Point FIPS/TAA, forty (40) each Aruba 120 Series Wireless Access Point Wall / Ceiling Mounting Kit, forty (40) each Next-Day Support for 3600-USF1 (1 year), one (1) each Next-Day Support for AP-125-F1 (1 year), one (1) each Arubacare support for LIC-RFP8 (1 year), one (1) each Support of LIC-PEF-256 (1 year), one (1) each Arubacare support for LIC-64-AP, (1 year), one (1) each Aruba GBIC Interface Adapter - SX, two (2) each All Freight, delivery, & shipping charges of product, one (1) each (Delivery Location is Camp Fretterd Military Reservation, Building 209, 13616 Desert Storm Lane, Reisterstown, Maryland 21136) The following clauses are provisions are incorporated by reference.
