Description
The Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX in support of the Air Force Security Assistance Training (AFSAT) squadron has a requirement to providing training to Malian Air Force aircrews and technicians on Basler Turbo-67 aircraft. Training will include BT-67 Recurrent Pilot training, Instructor Pilot qualification, and Initial Aircraft pilot qualification. Aircrew training shall provide the necessary skills to independently operate aircraft systems, subsystems, and related equipment. Maintenance training shall provide the necessary skills to independently maintain aircraft systems, subsystems, and related support equipment. Training shall be to the level necessary to provide students a thorough understanding of their specialty requirement so that at the end of their training they can perform tasks IAW applicable technical data with minimal supervision. All instruction and technical information shall be in the English Language. Specifics are as follows: 1). Academic and practical BT-67 recurrent training for four (4) BT-67 qualified Malian Air Force Officers. Training to be conducted at Contractor's CONUS facilities. 2). Academic and pratical portions of BT-67 instructor pilot qualification training for two (2) of the four (4) Malian AF Officers mentioned above. Training to be conducted at Contractor's CONUS facilities. 3). Acedemic and pratical BT-67 initial pilot qualification training for two (2) Malian AF Officers. Training to be conducted at designated training location in Mali. 4). Maintenance training for up to 15 Malian maintenance technicians. Training to be conducted at designated training location in Mali. This is a notice of intent to solicit BT-67 pilot and maintenance training IAW FAR part 15. Anticipated release date of Request for Proposal (RFP) is approximately 24 Aug 11. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect with Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. Do not submit bids, proposals, or quotations as this is only a notice of intent. The NAICS Code is 611512 size standard $25M. Note: Ensure you have NAICS code 611512 registered in order to be considered.
