Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (NAVSUP FLC San Diego) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to GATEKEEPER SECURITY. The requirement is for repair and service maintenance for Automatic Under Vehicle Inspection System (AUVIS) located in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates, Combined Task Group 56.7 for 1 base year and 1 option year. The system is proprietary to GATEKEEPER SECURITY. No solicitation document exists (see Government-wide note 22). Justification is attached per FAR 6.305. Any Small Business concern that is capable of providing requirement is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer by 9:00 am August 11, 2011 PST. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
