Description
NOTICE REVISION 01 (21 JUL 2011) This notice is to provide the Presentation,Industry Day Attendee List, Questions and Answers submitted on Industry Day conducted 21 July 2011, White Paper entitled Autonomous and Unmanned Systems Industry Consortium and Statement of Works entitledAutonomous and Unmanned Systems Prototyping (OTA) and Autonomous and Unmanned Systems Protyping and Support (MAC, draft). The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to procure technical services for the Autonomous/Unmanned Systems Prototyping and Systems Support Systems. The Autonomous/Unmanned Systems Prototyping includes full specturm RDT&E of prototype for autonomous/ unmanned systems operating across multiple domains to include air, land, sea surface, undersea, and space. The scope of this effort includes the analysis, research, development, test, evaluation, deployment, fielding, operation, experimentation, and logistics support of prototype systems and related enabling technologies. Specifically, this includes efforts to examine the architecture, engineering, functionality, interface and interoperability of prototype autonomous/unmanned systems, and their capabilities at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, to include all enabling technologies. Included is a White Paper entitled Autonoumous and Unmanned Systems Industry Consortium. The Autonomous/Unmanned Systems Support includes efforts to examine the architecture, engineering, functionality, interface and interoperability of autonomous/unmanned systems, services and capabilities at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, to include all enabling technologies. The scope of this effort encompasses operational exercise design and construction, operations and requirements analysis, concept formulation and development, feasibility demonstrations and operational support. This further includes efforts to analyze and engineer operational, functional and system requirements in order to establish national, theater and force level architectures and engineering plans, interface and systems specifications and definitions, and implementation, including hardware acquisition for turnkey systems. Additional efforts include software design and implementation as well as systems integration, test and evaluation, and demonstration. Two DRAFTSof the Statement of Work (SOW) can be reviewed at: SPAWAR E-Commerce Central. This procurement will be a Other Transaction Agreement and Multiple Award Contract Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type contract. An Industry Day was held 21 July 2011. Subsequent to the Industry Day, the Questions and Answers, and the Attendee lists are posted to the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central website SPAWAR E-Commerce Central.
