Description

The Connecticut VA Healthcare System in West Haven and Newington, CT requires Readjustment Counseling Services for Veterans located in the counties of Hartford, Litchfield, Fairfield, Middlesex, New London, Torrington, and Danielson. Readjustment Counseling Services are in accordance with Title 38 U.S.C. 1712A, to provide outreach and counseling to assist WWII, Korea, Vietnam Era (if seen prior to 01/01/04), Post Vietnam War Zone Veterans (which includes Veterans of the Persian Gulf War, the conflicts in Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Somalia and the Global War against Terror (OEF and OIF)) referred by the Connecticut VA Medical Centers in West Haven and Newington, CT or its Veterans Outreach Centers located throughout Connecticut. Contract period shall be a base year from the date of award until September 30th, 2012, with four available one year option periods. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about August 10th, 2011. This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% total small business set aside. The firm must be small under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. Offerors must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for correcting information. The NAICS code for this project is 621330 - Mental Health Practitioners. The small business standard is $7.0 Million.
