- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, is seeking qualified sources that can provide the following Winch Assemblies in support of the 49' BUSL boats: 1. Stock Number 3950-20-000-4855, Port Cross Deck Winch Assembly, Model PW-CD-275-PORT, Lantec P/N 402448, estimated quantity per year 5 each. 2. Stock Number 3950-20-000-4856, Starboard Cross Deck Winch Assembly, Model PW-SF-190-STBD, Lantec P/N 402450, estimated quantity per year 5 each. 3. Stock Number 3950-20-000-4862, Port Stern Frame Winch Assembly, Model PW-SF-190-PORT, Lantec P/N 402451, estimated quantity per year 5 each. 4. Stock Number 3950-20-000-4860, Model PW-CD-275-STBD, Lantec P/N 402449, estimated quantity per year 5 each. No alternate part numbers shall be accepted. The Government intends to award a Requirements contract consisting of one base year and one option year. It is the Government's belief that only Lantec, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized distributors, can provide these Winch Assemblies and ensure exact form, fit, and function, with existing equipment. All technical and engineering data is proprietary to the OEM and therefore cannot be released. However, sources capable of providing these exact Winch Assemblies may submit their capabilities to this office within seven (7) calendar days from the date this Notice is published. Information submitted must include (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
