- **************THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY********** This Sources Sought Notice (SS) is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The purpose of this SS is to identify all technically qualified contractors that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The USACE does not intend to award a contract based on the responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this SS, the USACE may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ). Should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against USACE shall arise as a result of a response to this SS or USACE's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. USACE is seeking capability statements from all eligible small business contractors under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115310, with a size standard of $7.0 Million per anum. All eligible small business concerns responding to this SS shall demonstrate their capability to perform the following Scope of Work at Greers Ferry Lake, in Cleburne County AR: The intent of this contract is to provide services of clearing and marking of surveyed boundary lines of Government property surrounding Greers Ferry Lake. The Contractor is required to uncover existing monuments as well as identify and document any trespass encroachments found on Government property as service is performed. The contractor shall furnish all necessary management, supervision, inspection, personnel, materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, and vehicles, except as otherwise provided for herein, necessary to assure that all services are performed in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, attachments, exhibits, and all applicable laws, regulations, codes, or directives. The contractor shall accomplish work in a timely, continuous, and satisfactorily manner. All interested and qualified firms should submit a tailored capability statement for this requirement, not to exceed ten single-sided pages, presented in single-space and using a 12-point font that clearly details their capability to perform the aspects of the notice described above. All capability statements sent in response to this SS must be submitted electronically (via e-mail) to Velma J. Jones, Contract Specialist, at velma.j.jones@usace.army.mil in MS Word or Adobe Format (PDF) no later than Friday, August 9, 2011, 1:00 PM
