Description
DLA Disposition Services has a requirement for the removal, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste at DLA Disposition Services Offuce Meade and surrounding locations. The RFP is a firm-fixed, Indefinite Delivery Indefinate Quantity (IDIQ), Full and Open requirement. This will be a single award contract. The NAICS code is 562211. The contract will be for an 18-month base period, and two 18-month option periods. FAR 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options, is included in the solicitation, as well as FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Under FAR 52.217-8 the Government may require continued performance of any service, within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract, for a total extension not to exceed 6-months. Performance will be directed by the issuance of individual written task orders against the contract. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, prior to contract award, the awardee must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Register. RFP SP4500-11-R-0018 will be publicly posted on or around September 1, 2011. When posted, the full solicitation, and any amendments issued prior to closing, may be obtained at the fedbizopps website. Only electronic proposals will be accepted. All prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transportation of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material and comply with environmental protection laws.
