- Solicitation SB1341-11-RQ-0497 Solicitation SB1341-11-RQ-0497 Applicable Provisions and Clauses Performance Work Statement SB1341-11-RQ-0497 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. FAR PART 13, SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES, ARE UTILIZED IN THIS PROCUREMENT. THIS ANNOUCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a request for quotation. The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519- Other Computer Related Services. This requirement will be competed under full and open competition under the corresponding size standard of $25 million. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the offeror that offers the best value to the Government using the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable method. *This solicitation is a re-posting of solicitation number SB1341-11-RQ-0446. The previous solicitation was competed as a total small business set aside under the 541519 NAICS code and size standard of $25 million. However, there were no responses submitted by small businesses. Therefore, Solicitation SB1341-11-RQ-0497 is being competed under full and open competition among BlueArc authorized resellers/service providers. The Enterprise Systems Division (ESD) of the Office of Information Systems Management (OISM) at NIST provides centralized file storage for NIST staff via two BlueArc Titan Network-Attach Storage (NAS) clusters in NIST's datacenters located in on Gaithersburg, Maryland campus and the Boulder, Colorado campus. The BlueArc Titan NAS on the Boulder, CO campus currently has a BlueArc DDN 6620 storage unit attached. ESD has the need to relocate a portion of this storage unit to the NIST Gaithersburg, MD campus. The NIST ESD is seeking to procure BlueArc professional services to disassemble a DDN 6620 storage expansion unit for the BlueArc Titan cluster in the NIST datacenter in Boulder, Colorado, convert the DDN 6620 storage expansion unit to a DDN 6620 storage array unit and install the unit in the BlueArc Titan in the NIST datacenter in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The attached Solicitation document and Performance Work Statement (PWS) provide the details on the tasks/deliverables that the Contractor shall provide to the Government. All quotations shall be submitted electronically so that they are received at keith.bubar@nist.gov no later than August 5, 2011 at 11:00 am EST.
