Description

The proposed contract action is for commercial item, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to Boston Scientific Corporation under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b). Please find attached sole source justification. Solicitation to follow. Salient Characteristics that may satisfy the requirement include: -Multiple Independent current control, so that each electrode contact on the lead has its own, dedicated power source to target pain. -Automatically adjustable impedance. -Ability to discharge without causing battery failure. -Wireless patient remote control. -Leads with 1mm spaced contacts.
