The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern Arizona VA Health Care System for SAVAHCS intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with FHC, Inc. for 1 ea Star Drive M/E System, 1 ea Guideline 4000, and accessories on a sole source basis pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. Any vendor who feels they can meet the requirements, including compatibility with CWR Integra equipment, superior sterilization technique and standards of quality may submit information of such. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether future procurements should be reviewed for competitive procurement. Response must be received prior to COB (4:30PM local time) on August 4, 2011. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
