PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under FAR Part 12.6 in conjunction with FAR 13.5 as applicable, and as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request For Quotation (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation #VA-248-11-RQ-0978 and is issued as a Request Ror Quotation (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-53. The association North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541810 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is restricted and only qualified offerors may submit their RFQ. This request is for: On Hold Services Statement of Objectives 1. Title of Project: On Hold Messages for the James A. Haley VAMC 2. Description: professional recording services for messages that the phone system(s) will provide to the callers placed on hold. The messages may consist of words with background music. Covers 16 sites. The package includes customized 'On-Hold' productions, professional male/female voice talent. Professional scriptwriting, extensive music library and music licensing fees. 3. Scope of Objectives: "The Vendor shall provide the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital with professional recording services for messages that the phone system(s) will provide to the callers placed on hold. The messages may consist of words with background music. The content shall be approved by the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital Public Affairs Office. "The Vendor shall provide all of the equipment and cables needed to interface with the NEC phone systems. "All equipment maintenance and replacement shall be covered under this contract with no additional cost to the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. "James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital will provide a phone line for the Vendor to connect to the equipment for downloading recordings and maintenance/troubleshooting of equipment. "The Vendor shall provide recording changes to each location each calendar month. "The Vendor shall offer at least one male and one female voice for the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital to choose from for the monthly recordings. "Recordings shall be done and uploaded to the location within 5 (five) business days after the Vendor receives the message from the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital Public Affairs Office. 4.This service is to be provided at the following locations: a.James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, 13000 Bruce B.
