- NSN: 4240-01-340-6314, FILTER ELEMENT, CHEMICAL-BIOLOGICAL. "Source Control Item," ILC Industries Inc (74897). Primary Drawing is 243-20005. Approved Source for Part Number 3052557 listed on drawing 243-20202 is Sterling Fibers, Inc, 1937 West Main Street, Stamford, CT. Origin inspection is required. FOB Destination. The drawing(s) listed above are available at DLA during "open solicitation only*. To receive a copy of the drawing(s), for EBS solicitations, use URL HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/RFQ/. Requested delivery is 90 days ADO. This NSN is an SMS item and is commercial. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two base years, plus 3 option years. The solicited is unrestricted and will be competed to maximum extent practicable under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD), which is 14,084 each. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is 5,000 each. These quantities will be the same for the two base years and all three option years. The final contract award decision will be made, as a result of this solicitation, to the responsible offeror, offering the lowest price, whose offer conforms to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the solicitation. Thus, the use of past performance and ABVS is not applicable in the evaluation of offers for this procurement. Solicitation issue date is August 16, 2011.
