- DESCRIPTION:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request is F11PS01176 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-53) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This is set aside 100% for Total Small Business. NAICS: 488390 and PSC: 1950. The small business size standard is $7 million in annual receipts. This is firm fixed price procurement; requirements will be procured using commercial item procedures. Award will be determined utilizing lowest price comparison of all offers. NOTICE TO VENDORS:-Any changes to the specifications/statement of work requiring an alteration in performance or delivery schedule requires approval by the Contracting Officer prior to solicitation closing.-For award perspective, the vendor shall have a current CCR and ORCA registration. Vendor to provide DUNS number with quote/proposal.-Vendor must submit with quote statement acknowledging adherence to specifications. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION:Proposals must be received at the following address, via fax, email or mail, prior to the closing date of this solicitation. Final delivery and acceptance shall be at the Alaska Peninsula/Becharof National Wildlife Refuge in King Salmon, Alaska, 99613-0227. SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK:Replace dilapidated float dock with new float dock made by EZ Dock or equivalent. The individual dock sections shall consist of decking surface and the float structure, which are to be constructed as a single, integrated component. Each section shall provide for the support of the dead load plus a specified live load of 62.5 lbs per square foot. This shall be accomplished without the use of foam for either structure integrity or floatation. The deck sections shall be manufactured by a rotational molding process and each dock section shall be subject to the specific parameters of the particular model. Other general specification of the dock sections consist of: 100% virgin linear low density polyethylene, an ultraviolet inhibitor (UV-8), mean wall thickness shall be no less than.310 inches, the wall thickness shall be no less than.290 inches at any particular point.
