- The 411th Contracting Support Battalion, Yongsan, Korea intends to issue a solicitation (W91QVN-11-T-0567) for Firm Fixed Price for Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) Supplies. The the requiring activity is 251st Signal Detachment. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 238210, Cable Splicing, Electrical or Fiber Optic Contractors. This acquisition will be full and open competition. The Government anticipates delivey 30 days from the date of award. The solicitation will be issued as a request for quote utilizing FAR Part 8.002(A)(1)(viii), Commercial sources (including educational and nonprofit institutions. Hard/paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date and time will be identified in the solicitation. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the documents posted on the reference webpage's. Interested Offeror's must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offeror's are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log into the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Funding is currently available for this acquisition at this time. All questions or comments should be forwarded in writing via email to Contract Specialist, Major Brenda F. Perry at brenda.f.perry@korea.army.mil. The Contracting Officer will be Mr. Ho Chun Song. All quotes need to be emailed to brenda.f.perry@korea.army.mil by 1300KST on August 3, 2011. If your quote is not received by this time, it is considered late and will not be evaluated.
