Description

The contractor shall provide a performance venue rental, which will allow the Department of Veterans Affairs complete usage of its facility for the 2011 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival (NVCAF) in Northwest Arkansas. The expected term of the performance will be October 19, 2011 through October 23, 2011. The contracted venue is expected to be fully capable of allowing various theatrical rehearsals/ performance, some which will include a musical act with a small orchestra- in total, a 70- 80 member Veteran Cast. The venue must also possess the appropriate space which will allow for proper onstage and backstage transitioning, as well as ensuring that there is a suitable area for an art exhibit. Solicitation document to be available on or about July 26, 2011. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be submitted in writing via email (lekisha.douglas@va.gov). No electronic proposals will be accepted. Closing date for submission of proposals will be approximately 14 days following date of issue, 4:00 p.m. central standard time.
