- This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a request for quotations. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal in response to this synopsis. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611519 and the size standard is $7M. The purpose of this notice is to identify companies capable and qualified to provide Power Production/Electrical Training. Description Shaw AFB requires on-site (@ Shaw AFB) training classes in the following areas: 1. 2011 National Electric Code 2. Lockout Tagout/Confined Space 3. NFPA 70E/ARC Flash, Electrical Safety 4. Basics of Electricty and Troubleshooting Electrical Control Circuits and Motors All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce a course to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. If your firm is capable and qualified to provide the applicable training, please respond via email no later than 1400 EST, 28 July 2011.
