Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and all other necessary provisions to replace and upgrade the area commonly known as the 6B Ward at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Hospital. Specifications and drawing shall be provided. The hospital is located at 7400 Merton Minter Boulevard San Antonio Texas 78229. This project's number 671-12-101 tasks shall consist of work that includes but not limited to demolition, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. The work site for this project will largely include an area of approximately 35000s.f. on the 6th floor. Major demolition details are removal of wall construction and removal of surfaces finishes with hazardous is required. Also demolition of plumbing lines with accessories, electrical line with accessories, HVAC ducting with equipment and asbestos. The 6B Ward shall be demo to a fit out ready and a hazard free environment. New construction for the space shall consist of an eighteen (18) patient bed ward complete with patient lifts, two (2) nurses' stations, employee & locker room, family visitation room, storage, and other associated functions. The ward is to be completed with new plumping, new electrical and new HVAC lines along with their accessory equipment, and other devices to have a complete and fully operational ward. The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issue date on or before August 12, 2011 and proposed award on or before September 30, 2011. This requirement is a competitive offer, set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The applicable NACIS Code for this requirement 236220, $33.5 Million. Probable requirement COST RANGE: $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00.
