Description
Sources Sought Notice only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Richmond currently has the need for a contractor(s) to provide emergency shelter from the street or habitation unfit for Veterans for our homeless Veteran population. The plan is to place them in short-term, emergency housing, defined as temporary housing in a safe residential environment. While housed, the Veterans will continue to receive assistance with identifying and moving toward permanent housing. This requirement is for providing emergency shelter for homeless female veterans (12 beds required) and homeless veterans and their families based on a family of four (11 beds required) up to a maximum of a one month stay. Services are required for a base plus three year option period. Emergency Shelter is for the homeless eligible beneficiaries of the veteran population requiring adequate shelter, meals, and support programs within surrounding areas of the Richmond community. Vendors should identify business type for forecasting purposes (Small, Large, VOSB, SDVOSB, WO, etc.) and vendors are encouraged to provide brief capability statements, prior work within the scope of services being requested. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. All correspondence and responses shall be e-mailed only to Faye Dillard at Faye.Dillard@va.gov. NAICS 623220 Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities, Size Standard $7.0
