Description

NAICS Code 51140 - NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: The US EPA's Office of Administration and Resources Management (OARM), Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) intends to award a sole source purchase order under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Leadership Directories, Inc., pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 51140. Leadership Directories, Inc. will provide the EPA with a 12-month subscription to the Congressional and Federal Yellowbook - On-line. As Leadership Directories, Inc. is a unique provider of this subscription, it is in the Government's best interests to enter into a sole source agreement to obtain the services and products from Leadership Directories, Inc. The Purchase Order is to be administered for the period 1 June 2011 through 31 May 2012, or one year from date of award. Two option periods for 1-year each may also be included. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.301-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the foregoing product may submit a response to this notice by 11:59 AM ET, 27 July 2011, to Ms. Janet B. Bowman at bowman.janetb@epa.gov. Information furnished shall include enough detailed documentation to allow the Government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
