Description
The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0340 for the following service: Contractor shall furnish all equipment, parts, materials, supplies, labor and supervision necessary and incidental to the work. The work is to be performed at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on 20953 West Hoff Road in Elwood, Il 60421. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and tools to pump septic tanks totaling 5000 gallons at two locations: Public Information Center (1500 Gals) Administration/Maintenance Complex (3500 Gals) Both have access by manhole/adjacent to parking lot. The work includes Water Jetting of Storm/Sewer Lines/Cable Rodding and Storm Drain/Manhold Pumping Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications and schedules. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is full and open competition. Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors in descending order of importance: technical ability, past performance and price. Extra weight will be given to a small business. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered. An offeror's proposal may not be considered when proposed cost is unreasonably high or unrealistically low. The technical criteria are considered of greatest importance; therefore, the Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The NAICS Code is 562991. Size standard is $Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 5, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on August 29, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Responses shall be submitted in the format required in the solicitation in Section E.
